SiteBoss S420
The SiteBoss 420-0 is well suited for two different applications:
Remote Cabinet Monitoring and Remote Access - The 420-0 can be used in remote cabinets or enclosures, from small BTS locations up to large walk-in enclosures. This small device supports remote environmental monitoring such as temperature, humidity, water, smoke, entry, motion, and airflow within these remote locations. The 420-0 delivers alarms “in-band” via ethernet only, and is specifically designed to be integrated with an SNMP software. The 420-0 is available for operation in a -48VDC or +24VDC environment as well as standard AC environments and has a wide operating temperature range for small cabinets without a controlled temperature.
Monitoring of Server Equipment Rooms - The 420-0 can be used in network equipment rooms primarily for environmental monitoring. The device supports environmental monitoring in small areas and within specific cabinets within a room. Common environmental factors monitored are temperature, humidity, water, smoke, entry, motion, and airflow. The 420-0 is specifically designed to notify an SNMP management system, but other methods of notification are also possible.
